The Effect Controls window also offers two keyframe-related features that the Timeline window lacks: You can snap the current-time indicator to keyframes and select all keyframes for a property.</p><p class="paragraph">Keyframes look different in the two windows. In the Timeline window, unselected keyframes are hollow <img src="images/KFTimelineUnselected.gif" alt="Timeline window, unselected keyframes are hollow " height="9" width="7" />; selected keyframes are colored <img src="images/KFTimelineSelected.gif" alt="Timeline window, selected keyframes are colored " height="9" width="7" />. In the Effect Controls window, unselected keyframes are partially shaded <img src="images/KFEffectsUnselected.gif" alt="Effect Controls window, unselected keyframes are partially shaded " height="11" width="11" />; selected keyframes are full shaded <img src="images/KFEffectsSelected.gif" alt="Effect Controls window, selected keyframes are full shaded " height="11" width="11" />.</p></ol><p class="headstep">To move the current-time indicator to the previous or next keyframe:</p><ol><p class="paragraph">In the keyframe navigator, click the Previous Keyframe button <img src="images/P_KeyNavPrev_N.gif" alt="Previous Keyframe button " height="12" width="7" /> or the Next Keyframe button <img src="images/P_KeyNavNext_N.gif" alt="Next Keyframe button " height="12" width="7" />. </p><p class="tip"><img src="images/tip.gif" alt="Tip" height="20" width="20" />The keyframe navigator is below the track name in the Timeline window and to the right of the property name in the Effect Controls window.</p></ol><p class="headstep">To select a specific keyframe:</p><ol><p class="paragraph">Using the Selection tool <img src="images/P_Select_Lg_N.gif" alt="Selection tool " height="17" width="12" />, click a keyframe. (In the Timeline window, when you position the tool over a keyframe, the pointer changes to the keyframe-editing icon <img src="images/TLControlPointSelection.gif" alt="keyframe-editing icon " height="25" width="24" />.)</p></ol><p class="headstep">To select multiple keyframes:</p><ol><p class="paragraph">Using the Selection tool <img src="images/P_Select_Lg_N.gif" alt="Selection tool " height="17" width="12" />, hold down Shift and select the keyframes.</p></ol><p class="headstep">To select all keyframes for a property:</p><ol><p class="paragraph">In the Effect Controls window, click the property name.
